technical information

We manufacture our toilet seats using Versagrit®, our material derived from a proprietary, unique, and exclusive formula, and Duroplast, the market standard. You can read more about this in our blog article What Materials Are Toilet Seats Made Of?

Within each of our products, you will find the main information about each model, but you can also find a button to download the datasheet. Go to our online product catalog, where all the universal toilet seat models we currently offer are listed.

In the product section, you can find our online product catalog. If you would like a physical copy, you can find it in the Downloads section.

In our blog article How to Install a Toilet Seat, you will find step-by-step installation instructions. In addition, on COMSAN’s YouTube channel, there is a playlist with different installation videos depending on the type of toilet seat fixing.

Although it may seem like an unimportant question, it is one of the most frequently asked by our customers and can extend the lifespan of the toilet seat, keeping it looking like new for years. Avoiding certain cleaning products and adopting specific habits are key to proper cleaning and hygiene. We explain more in our blog article How to Clean a Toilet Seat.

This is probably one of the most common questions, as several variables come into play and must be considered before choosing the toilet seat that best fits the toilet bowl. In our blog article How to Choose a Toilet Seat, we explain the step-by-step process to help you get it right the first time.

One of the most important things to know before buying a toilet seat—and something many users are unaware of—is the shape of the toilet bowl, whether you need a replacement or are looking for a new one. There are three main shapes that are the most common on the market. You can find them on this page, where we explain how to choose a toilet seat.

CID®, COMSAN Integrated Damper, is our patented damper mounting and gearing system. All our toilet seats include this system, as it offers numerous advantages compared to other mounting mechanisms on the market. In this blog article, we explain what CID® is and how to assemble and disassemble it in under a minute without any tools. A step-by-step guide on how to install CID® on a toilet seat is also available on our YouTube channel.

We have various certifications for quality and sustainability. Regarding quality, we have our own laboratory equipped with state-of-the-art machinery, where we subject our toilet seats to rigorous tests for strength, durability, and safety.

These internal controls are equivalent to those required by NF, JC, and BSI certifications, allowing us to guarantee a high level of reliability for each product and ensure that our toilet seats will pass the tests needed to obtain certification.

In addition, we are committed to using environmentally responsible raw materials. Our Versagrit® material has PEFC certification, and several toilet seat models are manufactured using this sustainable compound.

We also hold SGS certification, which confirms that our material is composed of 60% natural-origin raw materials.
